What’s changed for the 2019 Noosa Classic?

With the 2019 Noosa Classic Gran Fondo event only two months away it’s highly likely your preparations are already in full swing!

Watch this space for more tips to ensure you are in top shape for the Maxi Classic, Challenge Classic and Social Classic.

But first, let’s have a quick look at some minor changes to this year’s course.

Firstly, there will be just ONE King and Queen of the Mountain section as opposed to three from last year.

The infamous Cootharaba Road will serve as this year’s timed climb with Maxi and Challenge participants in store for almost 144 metres of elevation.

In addition to the condensing of the timed climbs there is a change of location for one Classic stop.

The rest stop at Imbil has now changed to the nearby Imbil Heritage Railway Station. There will be plenty of signage directing you throughout the course so relax and enjoy your ride!
